D.     Procedural Rules and Definitions

  • PPT P-1. Application of Procedural Rules to Personal Property Title Insurance
    Unless the provision is excluded by rule or statute, all procedural rules in Section IV of the Basic Manual of Rules, Rates and Forms for the Writing of Title Insurance in the State of Texas shall apply to the business of personal property title insurance.
     

  • PPT P-2. Application of Administrative Rules to Personal Property Title Insurance
    Unless the provision is excluded by rule or statute, all Administrative Rules in Section VI of the Basic Manual of Rules, Rates and Forms for the Writing of Title Insurance in the State of Texas shall apply to any title insurance company, title insurance agent, escrow officer, or direct operation engaged in the business of title insurance under Texas Insurance Code Title 11, including Texas Insurance Code Chapter 2751.
     

  • PPT P-3. Application of Claims Handling Principles and Procedures to Personal Property Title Insurance
    Unless the provision is excluded by rule or statute, all claims handling principles and procedures in Section VII of the Basic Manual of Rules, Rates and Forms for the Writing of Title Insurance in the State of Texas shall apply to any title insurance company engaged in the business of title insurance under Texas Insurance Code Title 11, including Texas Insurance Code Chapter 2751.
    The Commissioner amends the organizational structure of the Basic Manual of Rules, Rates and Forms for the Writing of Title Insurance in the State of Texas by:
         i.
      inserting a new section tab entitled “Sec. VIII--Personal Property” and
         ii.
     inserting four new subsection tabs after the proposed “Sec. VIII—Personal
             Property” tab as follows: “Ins. Code 2751”, “Insuring Forms and Endorsements”,
             “Procedural Rules”, “and Rate Rules”.
     

  • PPT P-4. Application to the Department for approval of a new or revised personal property title insurance form or a change in rate associated with such a form.
    A title insurance company may apply to the Department for approval of a new or revised personal property title insurance form or a change in a rate associated with such form in accordance with Texas Insurance Code §§2703.203-205.
