Construction: Closing and Insuring

Understanding the issues related to construction closing and insuring requires an understanding of legal topics.  Among these topics are: constitutional and statutory laws regarding homesteads, recording and priority of liens for construction money, and liens for unpaid suppliers and workers. It is also important to have a general knowledge of insuring principles.

This webinar will cover issues regarding proper closing documents and title insurance coverage – both during the construction closing and in subsequent transactions.

This webinar will also touch on legal topics and involuntary liens arising from unpaid costs of construction. The following topics will be covered:
