TLTA Regional Meetings Continue Across the State

TLTA has crisscrossed the state over the last few months for a series of 15 Regional Town Hall meetings. From El Paso to McAllen to Tyler, these meetings have been a great opportunity for your association to get to visit your hometown and provide you with important industry updates and information. Attendance this year increased significantly - especially in the Valley where more than 90 title industry professionals attended the McAllen meeting. We will be in Austin and College Station this week for the last of the meetings, and if you haven't had a chance to participate, we encourage you to come! Trinity Title Fundraiser for Bastrop Fire Victims

Stewart Appoints Matt Morris New CEO

Stewart Information Services Corp. announced the appointment of Matt Morris as new chief executive officer. Morris succeeds Malcolm Morris and Stewart Morris Jr., who served as co-chief executive officers. Malcolm and Stewart will now take posts as vice chairmen of the board of directors. Read More >

ALTA Announces Board and Executive Committees

The American Land Title Association (ALTA) recently announced the 2011-12 ALTA Board of Governors, as well as the Abstracters and Title Insurance Agents Executive Committee, and the Title Insurance Underwriters Executive Committee.
