Arlington Title Executive Receives President’s Award from Statewide Title Industry Association
AUSTIN – The Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), one of the state’s oldest trade associations, awarded Daniel Foster, Sr., CEO/President and Attorney for Providence Title Company, with the prestigious James H. Garst President’s Award during its Annual Conference and Business Meeting in New Orleans. The award recognizes the achievements of an individual who has shown outstanding service to the TLTA president during his or her year in office.
“Over the past year, Dan Foster has exhibited great leadership,” said James H. Dudley, IV, outgoing president of TLTA. “His unique contributions to TLTA and our industry during the most critical of times truly made a difference.”
Dan Foster is CEO/President and Attorney for Providence Title Company. In a career that has spanned more than 20 years, Dan’s practice has worked in trial and appellate civil litigation, earning certificates from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both consumer and appellate law. During the early course of his practice, Dan began representing customers, builders and Realtors in connection with disputes involving the sale of commercial and residential real estate. This focus led Dan to a career in the land title insurance business.
Founded in 1908, TLTA is a statewide trade association representing the Texas title insurance industry and currently serving over 13,000 professionals involved in the safe and efficient transfer of real estate. In the course of their daily work, TLTA members serve over a million consumers each year.
