TLTA Town Hall Board Meeting Scheduled for June 11 to Hear Comments on P-24. Let us Know if You Plan to Attend.

Dear TLTA Member:

The TLTA Board of Directors will hold a special town hall meeting in Austin on Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at 10:30 am at the Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental Hotel, 701 Congress Avenue.  The primary purpose of the meeting will be to receive comments from TLTA members on  proposed amendments to TLTA Board Approved P-24 Proposal that have been submitted to the Texas Department of Insurance by a group of industry members. If time allows, comments will also be heard on the proposed Procedural Rule P-53 regarding Rebates and Discounts. Please note:  These are both proposed rules submitted to and pending before the Commissioner of Insurance. They are not effective and will not become effective unless adopted by the Commissioner after a public hearing.

All TLTA members are invited to attend and make comments regarding these important issues. The TLTA Board of Directors will receive comments, ask questions and discuss the issues, however, no formal deliberations or vote on either of these issues will take place at this meeting. If you cannot attend, but would like to make comments, please email them to leslie@tlta.com or mail to Leslie Midgley at TLTA, 1717 W. 6th, Suite 120 , Austin, Texas 78703.
