How to Review a TREC One to Four Family Contract (On Demand)

In this course the instructors will explore the essential knowledge needed for both a novice and an experienced title agent in reading a TREC One to Four Family Residential Contract along with addendums. We will introduce the parties and process of a real estate transaction as well as how the contract, commitment and closing instructions are all important parts of the closing. The main discussion will be on the Sales Contract, taking a detailed look at each of the paragraphs 1-23 of the One to Four Family Residential Contract, including critical dates to look for.  We will take special note of the effective date, broker information, option fee, earnest money and the contract receipt. To finish the instructors will talk about some of the commonly used addendums and the new PID Disclosure requirements.
