Texas Title Agents should have a clear understanding of what a manufactured housing unit (MHU) is under both federal and state codes/rules. The course will explain the federal and state definitions of manufactured homes. It will also explain the documentation that comes from the manufacturer that is used to create the Texas Statement of Ownership and Location.  Finally, this course will also contrast the definition of a modular home.
