Rep. Andrew Murr Receives Prestigious Award From Statewide Trade Association
AUSTIN – The Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), one of the state’s oldest trade associations, recently awarded Rep. Andrew Murr (R-Junction) with the Outstanding Legislator Award during its Annual Conference and Business Meeting.
“We are honored to present Rep. Murr with this award in grateful appreciation for and recognition of his outstanding service to the citizens of Texas,” said Leslie Midgley, CAE, Executive Vice President of TLTA.
Rep. Andrew Murr was first elected in 2014 to represent District 53 in the Texas House of Representatives. He is currently Vice Chair of the House Committee on State and Federal Power and Responsibility, and has served on several House Committees that include the House Committees on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence, Local and Consent Calendars and Ways and Means. He lives on the family ranch outside of Junction and raises cattle. He also owns a small business, Telegraph Title Company, and maintains a general law practice.
