State Sen. Dawn Buckingham Receives Outstanding Legislator Award From Statewide Trade Association
AUSTIN – The Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), one of the state’s oldest trade associations, presented to state Sen. Dawn Buckingham (R-Lakeway) an Outstanding Legislator Award during TLTA’s Annual Conference and Business Meeting in Austin.
“Senator Buckingham shares our commitment to small business and protecting Texans property rights,” said Leslie Midgley, Executive Vice President and CEO of TLTA. “We are honored to present her with this award recognizing her outstanding service to the citizens of Texas.”
Sen. Buckingham was first elected in 2016 to represent District 24 in the Texas Senate. She serves on several Senate committees, including Health and Human Services, Higher Education, Nominations, Veterans Affairs and Border Security, and the Partnership Advisory Commission. Dr. Buckingham is a physician, and she holds leadership positions in local, state and national medical organizations.
