Fort Worth Title Industry Professional Honored by Statewide Trade Association

AUSTIN – The Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), one of the state’s oldest trade associations, recently named Janet Minke of Fort Worth an Honorary Member for Sustained Meritorious Service. The award was presented during TLTA’s Annual Conference and Business Meeting in Lost Pines, Texas.

This prestigious honor is awarded rarely and is reserved for industry leaders who have provided exemplary service to both the association and the title industry over many years.

“We are so pleased to present Janet with this honor. From her valuable contributions as a title industry educator and her skilled support for key TLTA educational initiatives, to her leadership in the regulatory arena as a subject matter expert and volunteer leader, Janet’s legacy of service is defined by the vast body of work she so generously shared,” said Leslie Midgley, Executive Vice President and CEO of TLTA. “We are so very grateful for her many contributions and tireless service to the title insurance industry over many years.”

Minke enjoyed a nearly 50-year career in the title insurance industry before retiring from Alliant National Title last year. She served more than 20 years with Guardian Title Company of Fort Worth, advancing to commercial closer and Executive Vice President before holding various regional and national positions with major title insurance underwriting companies.

In 2006, Minke’s peers awarded her TLTA’s highest honor - Title Woman of the Year.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas.
