Horseshoe Bay Title Industry Professional Elected President of Statewide Trade Association

AUSTIN – The Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), one of the state’s oldest trade associations, recently elected James H. Dudley, IV, President of Central Texas Land Titles, Inc. and attorney with the Yates Law Firm, to serve as president for the upcoming year.

“I'm delighted to announce that James will be taking over this important leadership position,” said Leslie Midgley, CAE, Executive Vice President and CEO of TLTA. “He is an extremely valued member of our association and is highly respected by everyone he works with. I know he will do a wonderful job leading us through the next year.”

Prior to his work at Central Texas Land Titles, Inc. and the Yates Law Firm, James worked as a commercial escrow officer with Charter Title in Houston from 2006 to 2008. He has served as a member of the TLTA Board for several years and as chairman of the association’s Agent Section and Regulatory Committees. Outside of TLTA, he has served as President of the Highland Lakes Texas Exes and a member of the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association’s Tax and Legislative Committee. He received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from the South Texas College of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
