Survey: More Millennials Renting, But Just As Many Want to Own

A recent study by the Urban Land Institute found that while more millennials are renting they still hope to one day own a single-family home. The institute surveyed people between the ages of 19 and 36.

Mary Ann Howard Receives Top Award from New Mexico Land Title Association

TLTA member Mary Ann Howard, Alliant National Title, was awarded The P.C. Templeton Lifetime Achievement Award by the New Mexico Land Title Association. 

Mary Ann was presented the award at this year's New Mexico Land Title Association Convention. 

The P.C. Templeton Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest award bestowed by the New Mexico Land Title Association and honors those individuals that throughout their career as a land title professional had dedicated themselves to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism, not only within the title industry, but also in the general business and civic communities.

Anderson Named Southwest Region Agency Manager

Alliant National Title Insurance Company announced that Rodney Anderson, formerly the company’s Vice President and Texas Agency Manager, has newly been promoted to the position of Southwest Region Agency Manager. Anderson is also a State Representative from District 105 in Dallas. 

“I have greatly enjoyed working for Alliant National these past three years,” Anderson says. “I am proud to play a key role with the company’s Independent Agents, and look forward to increased responsibilities and opportunities in my new position.”

Man Discovers Property Has Multiple Owners

An Edinburg man wants to know who built a horse arena and a playground on his property. County records show the deed history to his property is a mess. A total of five people have deeds to the property.
