TLTA Introduces its Newest President, Patti Bonner

Please join us in welcoming 2015-2016 TLTA President Patti Bonner. In addition to serving as TLTA president, Patti is also a member of TLTA’s PAC Board of Trustees. She has been previously honored as TLTA’s Outstanding Young Title Person and became a certified title insurance associate in 2010. With over 31 years of title industry experience with Stewart, Patti has made a career of working with independent agents in support of their success. Patti joined Stewart in 1984 as agency assistant and computer systems manager. She gained a great deal of knowledge and expertise throughout the years, directly taking on new challenges and responsibilities, including the roles of Associate District Manager, Associate Texas Agency Manager and Agency Services Manager for the Central Texas area. In 2014, Patti was appointed Agency Services District Manager for the South Central States district, comprised of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. In this role, Patti supports and oversees all Agency Services operations within the district.

Patti earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance from Oklahoma State University, and her Master’s of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. She is married and has two grown sons. Patti is a sports enthusiast and, in her spare time, she can usually be found at a football or baseball field supporting her husband, who is a high school teacher and coach.

Jeff Copeland Awarded Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Service to TLTA

This was the 5th year of the wildly successful TLTAPAC Live Auction at the President’s Dinner. The one and only auctioneer extraordinaire, Jeff Copeland, is the guy that makes that a hit. Jeff has not only transformed that event into a fun evening, but he’s also helped us raise substantial funds for the PAC along the way. In recognition for Jeff’s outstanding service, TLTA presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation at the Friday PAC breakfast on June 19.

Bert Massey Classic Golf Tournament a Huge Success!

The 7th Annual Bert Massey Classic Golf Tournament held in conjunction with the TLTA Annual Conference & Business Meeting was a huge success, with over 110 golfers raising more than $24,000 for the TLTAPAC. Golfers enjoyed a dry day on the course after all the wet weather from Tropical Storm Bill, followed by an awards luncheon sponsored by PPDocs, Inc.
