Embracing Industry Strength and Unity at TLTA's Annual Conference and Business Meeting

CONFERENCE RECAP SPONSORED BY

TLTA's Annual Conference and Business Meeting, held in San Antonio from June 3-5, was a tremendous success, bringing together over 500 Texas title professionals. The event offered a crucial platform for industry leaders to connect, share knowledge, and stay informed about market changes.

The conference featured valuable sessions such as "Surviving a Cyberattack," "The NAR Settlement Update: Implications for Real Estate," and "The Million Dollar Question: What's Ahead for the Real Estate Economy?" These sessions offered practical tools and up-to-the-minute insights on the hottest issues impacting our industry.

Tuesday's highlights included discussions on regulatory updates and cybersecurity defenses, followed by a General Session and Business Meeting where the 2024-2025 Board of Directors was elected and this year's new certified professionals were celebrated. ALTA President Don Kennedy shared his commitment to defending the industry's interests, while 2023-2024 TLTA President Rodney Anderson provided a recap of TLTA's significant achievements and ongoing efforts over the past year.

That evening, attendees enjoyed President's Evening at "Club 109," a glamorous supper club-themed event celebrating Outgoing TLTA President Rodney Anderson, CTIP. The night featured a live auction with exclusive items and an entertaining after-dinner show with dueling pianos. The event also included association traditions such as the ceremonial passing of the gavel to Claire Hartman, CTIP and the announcement of the President's and Title Person of the Year awards.

We look forward to gathering again next summer in Nashville for our
