You'll remember this program as Title Insurance & Doc Prep, but newly redesigned, Commitment to Closing is back with updated materials to addresses survey and title insurance questions frequently encountered by a party and their representative in connection with a transaction and closing. The speakers will cover title insurance due diligence, how to assure the best coverage and rates. Moreover, what if the insured does have a defect in title or an encumbrance – how should it be handled? Finally, this course provides an overview and practice tips for preparation of legal documents to convey title, release encumbrances and cure title issues.
