Title insurance in Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), including the responsibilities of escrow officers and their mandatory continuing education requirements. Learn more about these regulations under TDI Procedural Rule P-28.

Ethics Courses

Escrow officers are required by the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to complete 10 hours of continuing education every two years, including at least two hours focused on ethics. These courses help fulfill that ethics requirement while reinforcing the standards of professionalism and integrity expected in the title industry.
